Department of Industrial Engineering and Management

Mission:

Our mission is to cultivate basic and medium level professional workforce, for who would have industrial practices, management skills, and system integration planning abilities in the field.  The jobs related to production and system engineering, management, and quality control are applicable to our graduates.

Courses Features:

Basic courses aim to train the students for the abilities of critical thinking and problem solving through practicalities and monograph in both engineering and management classes.  Advanced courses discipline the students to have competences in industrial engineering and management in the future.

Professional abilities:

Ability of Engineering Operation, ability of Field Management, ability of Science and Technology Innovation, ability of Languages for International Communication, and ability of Humanism Quality are the top five abilities our students will have.  We also have course drills for national industrial engineer licenses, or for other associations’ certifications.

Career development:

Jobs related to production, operation, materials management, quality control, M&E application, marketing, human resource, and finance management in manufacturing industry, service industry, and IT industry, are all suitable for the graduates.  Attending national/international graduate schools or governmental/non-governmental research organizations is also good options for our students.
